Is this actually a replacement for a real coach?
No, and we're not trying to sell it as one. A good coach's eye is hard to fully replace. SwingWorks is built for the gap between lessons — when something feels off, or you want a second read on your own swing, without booking and paying for a session every single time.
How accurate is the swing analysis?
Phase detection, tempo, and posture/stance/head-position checks are measured directly from your recorded video, frame by frame. Things like turn percentage and X-factor are 2D-camera estimates — directionally useful, not lab-grade motion-capture numbers. Grip and shaft lean are self-reported/guided rather than measured from video. We'd rather tell you exactly what's measured versus estimated than let you assume it's all equally precise.
What do I need to film — one clip or two?
Two: face-on and down-the-line, both on your phone. Several common faults only show up clearly from one specific angle, so a single-angle app is guessing at the rest.
What if I have a physical limitation that affects my swing?
Tell SwingWorks about it. Rather than coaching you toward a generic "ideal" swing you may not be able to make, the plan adapts — either suggesting a compensation or adjusting what "good" looks like for your body.
Do you compare me to tour pros?
Only as a style reference, and only where there's a real public basis for it — for example, matching your build to the closest publicly listed tour-player build, or your tempo/turn pattern to a general archetype. We never invent biomechanical stats or claim a real, named player's data as fact. It's "this is the style you're closest to," never "you swing exactly like they do."
What devices does it work on?
SwingWorks is built as a real phone app (iOS and Android), not just a browser tool — record and review on your phone. You can also upload a saved swing video from a web browser on a computer, no phone needed.
What happens to my swing videos?
Your videos and profile are tied to your own account, not shared publicly. Full details on data handling will be published alongside launch — this page will be updated with a link when that's ready.
How is this different from Sportsbox AI, V1, or the other swing apps?
Most swing apps analyze the swing itself and stop there. SwingWorks also checks your setup and address position before you swing — posture, alignment, stance width, shoulder height, head position — because a lot of faults start before the club ever moves. It also includes a grip checker with specific fixes, and unlimited AI coach chat that's part of the plan rather than a metered add-on.
Is the AI coach chat really unlimited?
Yes — it's included in the plan, not billed per message or capped at a small number of questions a month.
When can I actually use it?
